"7/2024 Have had an overall good experience with state farm in the past. Currently its been horrible. Rates have more than doubled. I have one outstanding claim that I have been trying to get resolved over 6 months. They claim to have fired 3 of the adjusters they sent out that never showed up. Currently I have wasted a large amount of time to try to get this resolved. Their suggestion was to climb up on a 30 ft tall barn roof and remove the neighbors tree myself. Then I got them to hire professionals to remove it. To get the roof repaired they failed to communicate with the roofer. They said the roofer was going to do more work than they estimated for and said the roofers estimate was for that work also. After this the roofer stopped talking to me and claims has not responded in 2.5 weeks. 10/2024 Had an accident where the other person was at fault state farm has taken care of everything in the past. This time this office told me to use there insurance, which was geico and has been a great experience to deal with compared to state farm. I had to take care of everything by myself right when that accident happened with a compression fracture to one of my vertebrate. "like a good neighbor, state farm is there" is definitely false advertising. 10/2024 State farm has been unresponsive to the new roofers estimate. Also ignoring my calls."
